Newly launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the brand new Lagoon 50 is the perfect combination of the emblematic 450 model and the 52. She is an exacting option for sailors seeking a large “seaworthy and modern” owner’s boat. She brings a new visual identity, rigging, and hull design, providing increased performance, and showcasing a unique brand signature.

The bevelled shape of her hulls, generous volumes and panoramic views exude elegance. She offers unrivaled accommodation options: available with three, four or an incredible six cabins!

A huge amount of design thinking has gone into the ergonomics of the open cockpit – this boat will be a pleasure to sail and spend time on. The finish is superb and takes the Lagoon range to the next level in terms of delivering a luxurious on-water lifestyle.

The cutting-edge architecture and thoughtfully designed, spacious layout create a delightful, relaxed atmosphere. No detail has been spared. The innovative design offers owners their choice of accommodation layouts to suit their needs.

This new generation Lagoon has the mast step positioned further aft. The competitive sailing experience of VPLP influenced this decision, providing the 50 with numerous sailing advantages for you to enjoy.

The large forward triangle offers a wider choice of downwind sails, guaranteeing performance. And the mainsail, with a high aspect ratio, enables the capture of better airflow in the upper parts of the sail and promises optimised performance.

The flybridge has two secure access points and the helm station provides unencumbered visibility. Behind the helm station, the vast modular recreation area conceals generous storage.

The large open cockpit faces out to sea, adding to the sense of space. Easy access to the boat is enabled with the large stern skirts.

The spacious modular dining area features removable bench seats to accommodate adults and children, a great consideration for families.

The additional cockpit allows for seating or a deck chair and is flush with the forward trampoline. And most of the cockpit and flybridge seats conceal yet more storage.

The spaciously designed layout reveals innovative architecture where every detail has been planned to create a warm, homely atmosphere. The design enables you to choose your desired accommodation layout, with three, four, five or six cabins.

The stunning interior design, with a new, elegant and detailed wood finish, is customisable by the owner.

The saloon is on two levels, an innovative approach providing two separate but flowing areas.

The large galley opens onto the cockpit on one side, and the slightly elevated lounge area provides for panoramic vision, easily turning into a dining area as required.

The 50 boasts remarkable communication between the exterior and interior. The central panoramic windscreen retracts for ventilation of both the saloon and the cockpit and allows for interaction with the forward area.

The aft cabins benefit from outstanding natural light and are fitted with panoramic glazing and large hull portholes in the showers and bathrooms.

The hulls are comfortable and spacious, with generous storage space. The cabins have ‘Island bed’ berths forward and aft,  plentiful storage, hanging lockers, and open bookcases.

Consideration of space is achieved with the large fresh and black water tanks located under the floorboards, and an optional grey water tank is available to comply with environmental standards.
